brushesI am stripped of any pretense that can be attached to the ideas of what beauty should be. I am an artist in the    simplest terms to the most extreme and unconventional ideas not always understood by others. My individualistic ideas keep me separate from just being ordinary. I am always watching the world around me, for there is so much to learn…”A man who knows something, knows he knows nothing at all.” From a young girl getting ‘dolled up’ to walk to the corner mailbox to dressing up like Diana Ross putting on shows for my mother,  I’ve always had an undenying passion for beauty and fashion. Through my experiences I've evolved into a creative artist with unlimited boundaries of what can be done with make-up. From 'beating faces' to painting bodies,  I’m in-love with being able to touch someone’s spirit by turning make-up into art. Many people have many gifts, I'm not a singer, a dancer, a philosophist, or a scientist, I am an artist....a down right free spirited, uninhibited, loving life can't hold me back kinda of artist. Inspiration comes from many who have a strong passion and exert igniting energy as myself for the art industry. Society has seemed to wrap individual minds around what defines the realm of beauty; I am an advocate for the complete opposite. We can not define ourselves by someone else’s standards so I aspire to help others define in themselves their own meaning of what ‘their’ beauty is.

"The subliminal messages of pop culture leads us to believe that we're not truly desirable as women unless we adhere to the current standards of physical beauty in the eyes of mass media. Dissociation from the genuine light of self-awareness..."
